This Fall & Christmas season, we are excitedly entering our "Advent of the Servant." This is the expectant coming of the ultimate Servant (Jesus Christ) at Christmas.
There are lots of ways to gather, celebrate, and serve our community this season.

Hockey Game for Families and Youth
Wednesday, December 3rd
Doors open at 6:05pm. Game starts 7:05pm.
Get loud for the Tri-City Americans hockey team! Pastor Jonah is driving the church van with the youth group, and families with kids can meet us there. We have a reserved section of 40 seats for the Faith Night game. Reserve your ticket by contacting Pastor Jonah by November 30th. Tickets are only $10 each.
Doors open at 6:05pm. Game starts 7:05pm.

Saturday, December 6 from 10am-12pm
in the Ministry Center.
Ladies and girls, come and enjoy making crafts to be shared with our community. Even if crafting isn't your thing, come join us for refreshments, coffee, and fellowship. These crafts will be given out during All-Church Christmas Caroling on Dec.14.

Soup Making for Stepping Stones
The week of December 7th, our Life Groups will be making various soups to freeze and give to Stepping Stones, a local assistance shelter. This is one practical way we can help our community.

Childcare for Christmas Shopping

Open for drop-in from 9:30am-3:30pm
Need to do some Christmas shopping?
HermNaz Church is open for drop-in childcare for birth through 5th graders.
We’ll have fun crafts (they’ll make great gifts for parents!) plus fun activities in a safe space that will give parents a chance to get out and shop (or stay in and sleep!). Your kiddos can stay for an hour, or all six!
Tell a friend about this no-cost event. This is just HermNaz Church loving our community by providing a place for your kiddos so you can get your Christmas prep done.

Wear your ugly Christmas sweater to church at 10:30am. Come laugh as we celebrate Advent.
Christmas Carol from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Bringing Christmas cheer with carols. The crafts from the ladies craft day will be delivered to those we sing to as a way to bring some Christmas cheer.

Backpacks of Love
November Project
Each backpack is full of various toiletries, hygiene, and warmth items.
From November 2nd-December 7th, we are collecting funds to make 100 backpacks for our local community!
Each pack costs $30 and our goal is to make 100 backpacks! Buy a backpack…and when they're ready, give them away! These are great to give a hand up to someone in need.

Guatemala Christmas Adoption
November 23 - December 21
We are adopting Guatemala this Christmas!
This supports our missionary & church partners there, as well as supplies for our July 2026 mission trip.
HOW IT WORKS:
Select an ornament from the Christmas tree at church.
Purchase the requested gift labeled on the ornament.
Return the unwrapped gift under the tree by December 21.
TYPES OF GIFTS ON THE ORNAMENTS:
ITEM DONATIONS our mission team would like to take to the Guatemalan church, or for our missionary contact, Roger, to make his job easier and more efficient. We’ll pack these in suitcases.
MONETARY DONATIONS to purchase things like children’s Bibles, chairs, tables, and extra suitcases to carry our gifts to Guatemala. If you would like to give, cash or check can be given at church (memo: “Guatemala Christmas”), or online at https://hermnaz.church/give
