This Fall & Christmas season, we are excitedly entering our "Advent of the Servant." This is the expectant coming of the ultimate Servant (Jesus Christ) at Christmas.

Soup Making for Stepping Stones
The week of December 7th, our Life Groups will be making various soups to freeze and give to Stepping Stones, a local assistance shelter. This is one practical way we can help our community.
If you would like to contribute, but aren't part of a Life Group, please contact Laurie or our church office! We would love to have you be part.

Childcare for Christmas Shopping
Saturday, December 13
Open for drop-in from 9:30am-3:30pm
Registration is required by December 10th to lock in your spot!
Need to do some Christmas shopping?
HermNaz Church is open for drop-in childcare for birth through 5th graders.
We’ll have fun crafts (they’ll make great gifts for parents!) plus fun activities in a safe space that will give parents a chance to get out and shop (or stay in and sleep!). Your kiddos can stay for an hour, or all six!

Wear your ugly Christmas sweater to church at 10:30am. Come laugh as we celebrate Advent.
Photobooth available -- snap a picture with a friend!
Christmas Carol from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Bringing Christmas cheer with carols. The crafts from the ladies craft day will be delivered to those we sing to as a way to bring some Christmas cheer.

J.O.Y. Group Christmas Coffee | Senior Adults 55+
Tuesday, December 16, at 10:00am in the church Ministry Center
Please bring a plate of Christmas cookies or goodies to share with our coffee. Also, bring a wrapped Christmas kitchen towel for a gift exchange! (If you are unable to bring something, come for fellowship anyway!) Bring a friend or neighbor to join us as we celebrate Jesus’ birthday and fellowship together.
The J.O.Y. Group is a great place for senior adults (“just older youth” age 55+), to gather for food, fun, & fellowship.

Backpacks of Love
November Project
Each backpack is full of various toiletries, hygiene, and warmth items.
From November 2nd-December 7th, we are collecting funds to make 100 backpacks for our local community!
Each pack costs $30 and our goal is to make 100 backpacks! Buy a backpack…and when they're ready, give them away! These are great to give a hand up to someone in need.

Guatemala Christmas Adoption

We are adopting Guatemala this Christmas!
This supports our missionary & church partners there, as well as supplies for our July 2026 mission trip.
HOW IT WORKS:
Select an ornament from the Christmas tree at church.
Purchase the requested gift labeled on the ornament.
Return the unwrapped gift under the tree by December 21.

ITEM DONATIONS our mission team would like to take to the Guatemalan church, or for our missionary contact, Roger, to make his job easier and more efficient. We’ll pack these in suitcases.
