Spokane Fire Relief Trip | Recap

Spokane Fire Relief trip // Your Hermiston Nazarene Church team of 8 went to Spokane to work with Nazarene churches and our district to help with some projects after this summer’s fires.

The project: sorting, moving, organizing, and getting their donated supplies functional and in order.

Because of the abundance of donated goods, some serious manual labor was needed to help their relief teams be efficient. A lot of pallets were re-stacked, wrapped, and moved, our trailer was loaded to move supplies between the various storage sites and the Compassionate Resource Center, and we even took a couple trips to the landfill to clear out old chairs and furniture! These photos hopefully give a little glimpse into the successful weekend.

It was a joy to be able to serve and to grow together as a church family.
