Are you ready to go serve? We have been asked by our friends at the Spokane First Church of the Nazarene to come help with Fire Relief. We have been "on call" these months, and now they are ready for us to come help by way of sorting their donated supplies.
Project: They have been so overrun with goods that they need extra help to get the supply storage more functional. The project includes emptying their storage units, sorting, taking inventory, and re-storing in a functional way so these goods can effectively be used for later relief efforts.
Itinerary: We depart Thursday evening and get dinner on the road. Friday and Saturday are work days at the nearby storage center. Sunday morning we will attend church at Spokane Westside Church of the Nazarene for their special worship service as they are bringing in a worship band; we will get lunch on the road and return to Hermiston in time for the Youth’s Progressive Dinner that evening.
Spokane First Church of the Nazarene is hosting us: we will sleep on their church floor and use their restrooms.
Cost is $35 to cover food; plus bring money for 2 road meals.
This mission trip is open to all ages Jr. High and older at HermNaz Church.
